Sew Beautiful Things Sewing Club

Access to courses

Courses are uploaded to this portal as lessons and you will find them all linked at the bottom of the page.  They have been categorised into Beginner, Intermediate, advanced and Masterclass.  Please click the lesson you wish to take and you will then be taken to the video and relevant files. We do advise working through in order, but you are welcome to take them in any order you wish.

Facebook Group

The facebook group is where we sewcialise.  Share your makes, ask questions, reach out for companionship while you sew, find out about all the upcoming events that are exclusive to the sewing club and generally have fun.

2026 Sewcials – Dates for your diary
This years sewcials will take place on the 3rd Friday of every month for simplicity. They will commence in February and alternate each month between evenings (7pm – 10pm) and mornings (10am – 1pm) as follows:

April 1th – Evening
May 22nd – Morning
June 19th – Evening
July 24th – Morning
Aug 21st – Evening
Sept 18th – Morning
Oct 23rd – Evening

LIVE ZOOM SEW ALONGS

Every so often, we will have a LIVE sewalong to make something simple enough to do in a group via ZOOM.  These projects are just for fun and may often seem a little basic but it’s a nice way to come together and learn a few new techniques.  We may also use these as an opportunity to trial new classes or courses we plan to put on. These Zoom sessions take place in our online sewing room (details below) The event details will be placed on our facebook group with full details of any materials or prep required.
