Kids beginners sewing workshop

Is your child interested in learning to sew and operate a sewing machine? This class is designed for total beginners and will teach them the basics of cutting, and assembling items using the sewing machine.
Description
During the session your child will make a string of bunting in the fabric of their choice as well as a small tote bag. Both projects will be made from the same design.
All materials are included in the class and your child can pick them from our shop at the start of the day (Total value of materials £12). Tools and machines are provided.
Also included is a full video course which has been professionally filmed so that they can remake the items at home. This also includes a bonus video on how to make a simple elasticated skirt. Fabric for which can be purchased at the end of the day if you’d like to have a go at home.
Your child does not need to be accompanied by an adult for the session. It is limited to only 6 pupils and there will be 2 teachers in situ all day. They will be given the oppotunity for a short lunchbreak and are required to bring a suitable packed lunch with them to include a water bottle that we can re-fill for them during the day.
You are welcome to stay for part of the class or even all of it if you prefer.
