This course is just perfect to whip up a fully functional and totally reversible little girls dress. Ages 1-2 and 2-3 but then totally wearable as a tunic over leggings as your child grows. (We are developing the pattern in sizes 3 – 6 and this will be added to the course within the next couple of months. Feel free to take advantage of the early bird price if you can wait a little longer).
You will need between 1/2 a metre and 1 metre of fabric in 2 different patterns. We advise printing and cutting your paper pattern before deciding on fabric quantities as the quantity needed will very much depend on whether you have a directional print and the width of your chosen fabric.
It is a great scrap buster and an ideal way to use up smaller pieces of fabric leftover from dressmaking projects you may have done in the past.
The pockets are totally optional and can either be added as just 1 pocket or double pockets on either side of the dress or both.
You will also require 2 buttons for either side of the dress (4 in total).
The pattern is available to download as an A4 PDF which can be easily stuck together or as an A1 copy that you can get printed at a local print shop.
