Is your machine sitting on a hard surface and making a nasty rattling sound? Cushion the noise with a lovely quilted sewing mat which has front pockets enabling you to store your most useful sewing tools. It also doubles up as a tool holder and can be rolled up and taken to classes with you.
Description
During this class you will learn to quilt and assemble fabric to create your finished mat.

Materials required:
1 metre of 100% quilting cotton required for your main mat.
1 x fat quarter of contrast fabric in a plain cotton for your pocket binding/lining)
and 1/2 metre of wadding/batting (we recommend polyester/cotton mix and not the old fashioned polyester scratchy type of wadding).

This is a lovely project where you learn about quilting and binding. Takes a few hours and you get a great mat that you will use whenever you sew. Lots of great hints and tips along the way as always from Claire!
